Volunteer Stylists to Provide Free Haircuts for the HomelessPHOENIX
(Sept. 7, 2012) – To the homeless, who do not know where their next meal is coming from, a
haircut is a luxury the homeless cannot afford. In its 20th year, St. Vincent de Paul’s
Hair-Cut-A-Thon is an important event for the Valley’s homeless. Not only are haircuts important for
good hygiene, they are also essential for those who are looking for permanent housing and
employment.
Harry Tahiliani believes that feeding the homeless and supporting
this Charity, along with the Feeding The Children (FTC) Charity is essential to better
our society. On Sunday, Sept. 9, starting at 10 a.m. stylists from all over the Valley will
be volunteering their time to cut and style hair for hundreds of homeless adults and children. All of
the styling supplies, including shampoo and hygiene packs for the homeless are donated by the The
Tahiliani Family.
The Tahiliani Family has been involved with the HairCut Marathon for the
last 12 years and believe its a very important cause for the community.
